What does price per unit mean?
Last updated June 14, 2026
Price per unit is a normalized way to compare products with different package sizes. For powders, this often means price per gram. For capsules, it can mean price per capsule. For liquids or solutions, it may use volume-based units.
The goal is not to say which product is best, but to make pricing easier to compare when two listings have different quantities, formats or vendors.
